References for multi-axis turning techniques

This is a short list of articles and books on multi-axis turning that I've come across. I expect to add to it as I find more.

Please note: Woodworking is an inherently dangerous activity. The non-woodworking techniques described here aren't all that safe, either. Sharp tools, powerful motors, big lumps of wood, chemicals, fumes, etc. can cause you serious bodily injury or even death. These pages are NOT meant as a substitute for instruction by a qualified teacher, just as an illustration of how I do certain things. I take no responsibility for any mishaps you may experience during a fit of inspiration. You've been warned.

Books

Multi-Centre Woodturning, by Ray Hopper, Guild of Master Craftsmen Publications, LTD, 1992. This book was out of print the last time I checked Amazon.com. It contains a wealth of information on techniques and jigs for off-center and off-axis turning.

Articles

A two-part article in the Fall 2007 and Winter 2007 issues of "American Woodturner" (vol. 22, numbers 3 and 4). "Multi-Axis Turning" by Barbara Dill. She has a website, also and another version of the AAW article is available there in PDF format.

An article in "Woodturning", issue 208 (Christmas 2009), pp. 63 - 66. "Pair of three-sides candleholders" by Paul Nesbitt. The publisher has a website that posts additional articles. I haven't searched through it, but there may be additional articles on multi-axis turning there.
